This region of Costa Rica has long been overlooked by tourism, due to the challenging infrastructure associated with it. That hasn't changed much, however the stretch of highway, from Dominical to approximately Puerto Cortés is fabulous. This area from Dominical, Uvita, Ojochal and south toward Puerto Jimenez in the Osa Peninsula is becoming extremely popular with vacationers. There are hotels of all varieties.
